VSS presente en la conferencia RSA desde 25 de Febrero al primero de Marzo del 2013 en la ciudad de San Francisco, USA.
En Octubre del 2012, VSS Monitoring anuncio una nueva familia de productos; la serie vInspector. Estos nuevos modelos de equipamiento permiten desencriptar trafico SSL permitiendo que herramientas de seguridad puedan ver el trafico SSL. En pocas palabras, el trafico SSL (encriptado) que proviene desde la red entra al vInspector, este equipo lo desencripta y lo envía a las herramientas de seguridad que corresponda. La/s herramienta/s de seguridad hacen su trabajo, y le regresa el trafico al vInspector. Finalmente, el vInspector vuelve a encriptar el trafico y lo regresa a la red.
De acuerdo a algunas estudios, un 25% del trafico de una red es de tipo SSL, y el numero de virus que estan siendo encriptados es cada dia mas alto.
Este nuevo modelo puede ser facilmente conectado a la serie vProtector y asi permitir el trafico que fluye entre una o varias herramientas de seguridad (FireEye, McAfee, Palo Alto Networks, etc.), y así poder ser interpretado, pueda ser analizado. De la misma forma, la familia vProtector permitir que varios enlaces (o redes) tengan acceso a las mismas herramientas, incluyendo el vInspector. Con características como “Health-Check”, la familia vProtector puede detectar cuando una de las herramientas de seguridad deja de funcionar y decidir si enviar el trafico a otras herramientas de seguridad, protegiendo la red.

CommProve Announces New Channel Partners
